It’s “keeeeeee-oot” if you’re only 8yo.

Tinkerbell is actually a pretty common name for cats and small dogs. Paris Hilton’s dog is named Tinkerbell….

I’ve known people with dogs and cats named Tinkerbell, so you are not alone, and it works well with smaller dogs like the Maltese. If that’s the name you like, go for it!
(We just got a new kitten on Saturday, and by Sunday we knew her name: Trouble.)

It would be a very cute name however it’s better for a dog to have a 2 syllable names like Bella, Jamie, Holly, etc. Its still cute though and maybe u could abbreviate it somehow or even just use it and say it quickly, lol!!!!

interesting my wife and I have a maltese 7 year old teacup size named tinkerbelle, I call her tinker pup cuz she is only 5 lbs. common name and fits the breed. BTY maltese dogs can be trained to use a litter box very easy. Keeps from having them drag their white fur outside and getting dirty twice as fast.

It’s actually very common – but not weird at all.
You do know that was Paris Hilton’s dog’s name – just in case that assiation would bother you. It would bother me.

You may not like hearing this, but try to be a little more original. Ever since Paris Hilton’s Chihuahua “Tinkerbell” it is nearly impossible to run into someone with a toy breed dog that is not named “Tinkerbell”.
Maybe you could try a variation of the name such as: Tinky or Tinker Toy.
